Membership in the Welsh Pony and Cob Association of Ontario is inexpensive and worthwhile (please refer to the “About” section at left for details.). Your 2010 Membership renewal is due by December 6th. Please don't miss out on the membership benefits. You may join the W.P.C.A.O. by clicking on the Membership_Form.pdf link below. 2009 Annual General Meeting

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Welsh Pony and Cob Association of Ontario will be held at the Utica Hall, on Sunday December 6th.

The Utica Hall is located at 13990 Marsh Hill Rd., Utica Ontario.

There will be a catered hot lunch. The cost for the lunch is $10 per adult and $6 per child.

RSVP: Jennifer and Matthew Caldwell at 905-982-1536, by November 29th, so the caterer can accommodate everyone.

There will be a raffle table fundraiser. Please bring a prize to donate.

Perpetual challenge / High-Point trophies should be returned to Medea Rietvelt by November 15th, to accommodate engraving.

New Champion Gelding Class - 2009 Royal Winter Fair

A special thank you to Jeff and Medea Rietvelt and Family, for their suponsorship of the "Champion Gelding Class" at the 2009 Royal Winter Fair.

The Champion Gelding was Canterbrook Raisin, a section B pony, owned by Kelsey Stapleton.

New Ridden Pleasure Classes at 2009 Royal Winter Fair

A special thank-you is extended to the family of Muriel Burnley, Dan Silcox and Jessica and Matthew Figas, for their sponsorship of the 2009 Welsh Pleasure Under-Saddle classes.

The Ridden Classes at the Royal Winter Fair were well attended and the stands were full to capacity. Our Judge for the day was Alberta (Mickie) Bowen, Unionville, PA .

The Champion Purebred under saddle was Millgate Braveheart, owned and ridden by Johanna McKeen.

The Half-Welsh under saddle Champion was Tan Sharra Sharra, owned by Laurie and Elspeth McCulloch and ridden by Katie Shipley.
